WIBOsafe containment isolator for personal protection
The WIBOsafe containment isolator ensures maximum personal, product, and room protection when handling highly active substances. The containment isolator was specially developed for activities such as weighing, transfer, and sampling according to the highest safety standards. The closed front window creates an enclosed atmosphere that shields the work area from the surrounding area. To increase operator protection, the system is operated under negative pressure in order to prevent leaks to the outside.

Description

The WIBOsafe containment isolator offers maximum safety when handling highly active product ingredients (HAPI). A constant negative pressure prevents hazardous substances from escaping – even if the gloves are torn off. The isolator is equipped with a turbulent diagonal air flow. Alternatively, laminar airflow can be used. The air exchange rate is > 50. The controlled fan for supply air generates a defined constant flow without fluctuations. This means that the isolator meets the requirements of clean room class A according to EU GMP (ISO class 5). The isolator chamber has a hygienic design and features a wash-in-place system for manual cleaning. A CIP system can be installed as an option.
